Dr. William Ayotte has been in the dental profession since 1988 and believes in changing with the times is one of the most important parts about being a dentist.
He has seen a shift in the typical dental problems patients bring to his office and keeps current with the latest techniques used in dentistry.
Dr. Ayotte attended a four-day seminar in Florida on the subject of TMJ (temporomandibular joint syndrome) and feels well equipped to help people with this stress-related dental problem.
“We see less decay today and more grinding problems such as TMJ”

Education and Experience
Ayotte’s undergraduate work was done at Framingham State College in pre-med and chemistry, and he earned his degree in dentistry from Tufts University Dental School.
He started doing dental hygiene work while in dental school as a kind of apprentice to Dr. Parviz Darviche in his Newton practice, and he still does the dental cleaning for his patients here.
Marlborough Office
In July 1998, Dr. Ayotte opened his own office in Marlborough, and moved to an updated office in 2021 at 910 Boston Post Rd E #240. He primarily serves the communities of Marlborough, Wayland, Southborough, and Hudson. He also continues to work part-time as an associate in Dr. Darviche’s practice.
Dr. Ayotte performs a broad range of dental services from basic dental cleaning and bi-annual check-ups to major restorative work. In addition, he offers cosmetic dentistry, including whitening and brightening teeth. He also replaces old fillings with the newer amalgam and composite fillings, which are much more natural in appearance.
